feeling down

I am just feeling a little down today.  I didn't get anything done yesterday.  Just feel overwhelmed and exhausted. Maybe I am eating too much sugar....maybe I am dehydrated....maybe I am watching too much TV....maybe I need to exercise...maybe I am spending too much time on my computer...maybe I am procrastinating on the things I really need to get done (report cards and taxes)....maybe I should get up and get ready for work...

  1. Sorry you're feeling low. You're right, we are a lot alike! It's my specialty to diagnose myself as having not had enough/too much water/exercise/sleep/sugar/whatever. But you're also right, it's probably best to just get up and go to work and see that things will get better. And they will! Take care of yourself. xo

  2. Maybe you are just tired. Sobriety requires a lot of healing of the body. It needs sleep, and extra water, and regular food.

    There are always going to be up days and low days. That's why God invented coffee (ha ha).

    Seriously, give yourself permission to just take it easy. It is the best choice.

  3. It's okay to feel down and out of sorts right now and you don't need a reason. One of the strangest concepts I had to get my head around was the fact that it was OKAY to do NOTHING if that's what I needed. And I needed it a lot.

    Listen to Ann...give yourself permission to just take it easy and heal.
